Betty Jane Strong is a founding member of the Opportunity Arkansas Foundation board, serving as board chair since the organization’s launch in 2022. She is the trustee of the William A. and Genevieve H. Strong Foundation Trust. She is also an active partner of The Strong Company, Inc. founded by her late father William in 1959. Betty Jane inherited her father’s passion for a free America and continues to work individually and through the OA Foundation to invest in young people to become conservative freedom fighters for the United States. OA’s Strong Leadership Award, given to a legislator after every legislative session who goes above and beyond their regular duties to help expand opportunity in Arkansas, is named in honor of Betty Jane and her father. Aside from her work with OA, she is honored to serve on the boards of Concerned Women for America and Network of Enlightened Women.
Betty Jane resides in her hometown of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She has been a lifelong equestrian and horse breeder. She enjoys her small horse farm and many dogs, along with gardening and her koi pond.
Nic Horton came to me with an idea to start a conservative think tank for Arkansas. I was immediately on board knowing how much one was needed. I am so happy with OA and the successes it has had. For everyone who wants Arkansas to be a great state, OA is an organization that I suggest you be involved in.
